For ATS and recruiting-software teams

AI APIs for ATS builders

To add AI resume parsing and candidate scoring to your ATS, call the Curriculo public API. Sign up at console.curriculo.me and generate an API key. Send CVs to Parse CV for structured fields, or to Evaluate candidate with the job requirements for a suitability score, written reasons, matched skills and gaps. One key covers all six capabilities.

This page is for product and engineering teams building an ATS, a job board, an HR tool or other recruiting software. Each capability is a single request, so integration stays small and self-contained.

The API is a separate product from the Curriculo ATS app. You call it with a Bearer key from the Developer Console, with no ATS login, session cookie or organisation header. It does not replace your ATS: a job registered on the API is stored only as a string of requirements to evaluate CVs against, with no boards, pagination or organisation job list.

Capabilities #

Six operations behind one key. Each links to its full description.

CapabilityWhat it adds to your product
Parse CVAccepts one CV or a list, PDF or DOCX, up to 10 MB each. Returns name, contact details, work history, education and skills in the CV's own language and script.
Evaluate candidateRegister a job once as careers-page text, a JSON string or a job PDF/DOCX, then send CV PDFs against it. Per CV: a suitability score, written reasons, matched skills and gaps.
TranslateUp to 200 texts and 50,000 characters per request, or a PDF/DOCX upload. Your order is kept, and one failed item never collapses the batch. Translation covers 85 languages.
Detect languageOne text or a list, up to 50,000 characters. Returns the language, so you can route a CV or a message before acting on it.
Interview summaryVideo, audio or an existing transcript. Returns the transcription for media, then highlights, red flags, skills and a recommendation.
Résumé assistantSend a CV once, then plain-language instructions to ask questions, edit sections or produce a translated version. The only capability that keeps a working copy.

Exact inputs for each capability are in the request reference.

Get started #

From sign-up to a first request, without a sales conversation.

Create an account

Sign up at console.curriculo.me. Sign-up is self-serve, so no sales call is needed to begin.

Generate an API key

On the API Keys page. The key is shown once, so store it safely. Never commit it to source control or paste it into an untrusted client. Revoke it immediately if it is exposed.

Make a first request

Every request carries the key as a Bearer token in the Authorization header:

Authorization: Bearer key_...

In the interactive documentation at api.curriculo.me/public/docs, click Authorize, paste your header and use Try it out on any operation, file upload included. The console also shows a ready-to-copy request for each capability.

Design for processing time

A CV takes 40-90 seconds to process, so treat it as a background job rather than a page load. Sustained throughput is 2-4 CVs per minute of shared capacity, and each key is limited to 600 requests per minute. See limits & performance.

Billing #

Usage-based, with no plan to choose.

  • A one-time $5.00 free credit is granted on sign-up, and no payment method is needed to start.
  • After that, each call is metered on what it actually consumes and drawn from a credit balance, which tops up by card through Stripe when it falls below your chosen threshold.
  • There is no subscription, no monthly plan and no minimum commitment.
  • Resale and committed-volume pricing is contracted per engagement and is not the self-serve rate.

Full details are in billing & usage.

Data handling #

What the API keeps.

Five of the six capabilities are one-shot and store nothing you send; the résumé assistant keeps a working copy for its session. You remain the data controller for candidate CVs and recordings. See data handling.

MCP server #

A different product, for teams already on Curriculo ATS.

The Curriculo ATS MCP server is a separate product that connects Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor to Curriculo ATS over OAuth, and a public API key does not reach its tools. See the MCP documentation.
