Welcome to Curriculo.me. By accessing or using our website and AI Resume Builder services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. The Service is owned and operated by CURRICULO INC., located in Brooklyn, New York. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.
2. Description of Service
Curriculo.me provides an “Honest, Free” algorithmic resume builder. Our proprietary AI Agent allows users to paste a job description, adapt their resume to match specific keywords, customize their document’s layout, and instantly export it as a PDF. We provide these Services to help job seekers optimize their applications and employers make better, fairer hiring decisions.
3. User Accounts and Responsibilities
While you can access certain features without an account, creating one allows you to save and manage your resumes. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information. You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to generate misleading or fraudulent professional histories, or to attempt to reverse-engineer our AI Agent or platform infrastructure.
4. Intellectual Property and User Content
We do not claim ownership over the personal data or the professional text you input into our platform; your career data remains entirely yours. However, the Curriculo.me website, its original content, design, typography, AI algorithms, and branding are the exclusive property of CURRICULO INC. and are protected by international copyright and trademark laws.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties and Guarantees
Curriculo.me is a tool designed to assist you in formatting and optimizing your resume for Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). While we strive to provide a highly capable Service, we do not guarantee that using our platform will result in employment, interviews, or job offers. The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CURRICULO INC. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, resulting from your use of the Service or your inability to access the Service.
7. Curriculo ATS Specific Terms
The following additional terms apply to employers and recruiters using Curriculo ATS:
7.1 SaaS Subscription. Curriculo ATS is provided as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform. Access is granted on a subscription basis according to the selected plan: Starter (Free, up to 3 active jobs), Pro ($100/month (early bird: $50/month), unlimited jobs and advanced features), or Enterprise (custom pricing with dedicated support and integrations). Pricing is subject to change with 30 days’ notice.
7.2 Employer Responsibilities. Employers using Curriculo ATS are solely responsible for: (a) ensuring their use of the platform complies with all applicable employment laws, including Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) guidelines and non-discrimination laws; (b) acting as the data controller for all candidate data processed through their account; (c) configuring appropriate data retention periods for candidate information; and (d) ensuring that hiring decisions made using Curriculo ATS comply with applicable anti-discrimination regulations.
7.3 Candidate Data Handling. Employers acknowledge that candidate data submitted through Curriculo ATS is entrusted to them under applicable data protection laws. Employers shall not use candidate data for purposes other than evaluating candidates for the positions to which they applied, unless separately consented to by the candidate.
8. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Curriculo’s AI generates various outputs across its products, including resume suggestions, candidate scores, skill gap analyses, and personalized feedback through the Constructive Closure feature. All AI-generated content is provided as decision-support tools and informational suggestions only. AI outputs do not constitute professional advice, employment recommendations, or guaranteed assessments of candidate suitability. Users acknowledge that AI-generated content may contain errors or limitations and should be reviewed by qualified human decision-makers before being relied upon.
9. Employer Obligations for Fair Hiring
Employers using Curriculo ATS agree to: (a) comply with all federal, state, and local employment laws, including EEOC guidelines and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA); (b) not use AI-generated scores or rankings as the sole basis for hiring or rejection decisions; (c) maintain human oversight over all hiring decisions; (d) not discriminate against any candidate based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, or any other protected characteristic; and (e) use the Constructive Closure feedback feature responsibly and in good faith to provide genuine developmental feedback to rejected candidates.
10. Multi-Product Interactions
Users who interact with multiple Curriculo Inc. products (e.g., a job seeker using Curriculo Resume Builder who applies to a position on Curriculo ATS) acknowledge that their data may flow between products as necessary to facilitate the application process. Job seekers’ resume data is shared with employers only upon the candidate’s active submission of an application.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
