Smart Routing & Silent Import
Standard Routing
Post a job and share the address engg+{jobCode}@curriculo.me on your careers page or job board. Every email sent to that address is automatically matched to the correct job, and the sender is created as an applicant. No manual sorting required.
Silent Import Routing
Use engg+{jobCode}[email protected] to silently import candidates without triggering the auto-reply acknowledgment. Useful when you’re bulk-forwarding sourced candidates and don’t want them to receive a generic “we got your application” email.

Thread Tracking
Conversations are threaded by Gmail thread ID, so the entire email history with a candidate appears in one continuous view. No lost context, no scattered replies across team members’ inboxes.
Attachment Extraction
Resume PDFs and DOCX files attached to candidate emails are automatically downloaded to secure S3 storage and linked to the applicant profile. The AI parser processes them on arrival.
Reply From Within ATS
Respond to candidates directly from the Curriculo ATS interface. Your reply is sent via your connected Gmail account, so the candidate sees it as a normal email from you — not a no-reply address.
Forward Detection
When you forward a candidate’s email to Curriculo ATS, the system extracts the original sender (not you) as the applicant. Forwarded emails are parsed correctly without creating duplicate profiles for the forwarder.
Full Conversation History
Every email — inbound and outbound — is stored on the applicant’s profile. New team members can see the full communication timeline without needing access to anyone’s personal inbox.
Deduplication
The system skips duplicate emails (same Gmail message ID) and detects duplicate applicants (same email address). If a candidate applies to two jobs, their profile is linked — not duplicated.
Does Curriculo ATS read all my Gmail emails?
No. The OAuth scope is limited to emails sent to or from your connected hiring addresses. Personal emails are not accessed or stored. You control which accounts are connected.
What happens if I get a duplicate email?
The system uses Gmail message IDs to detect duplicates. If the same email arrives twice (e.g., via forwarding and direct send), it’s stored once. Duplicate applicants are also detected by email address and merged.
Can I turn off the auto-reply to applicants?
Yes. You can disable auto-reply per job or globally. Alternatively, use the silent import address (engg+{code}[email protected]) for specific emails where you don’t want an acknowledgment sent.
Does it work with Outlook or other email providers?
Currently, Curriculo ATS integrates with Gmail via Google OAuth. Outlook and other providers are on the roadmap. In the meantime, you can forward emails from any provider to your Curriculo routing address.
Is the Gmail integration included in the free plan?
Yes. Gmail connection, auto-sync, smart routing, auto-reply, and thread tracking are available on every plan, including the free Starter plan.
